- sendha namak or himalayan pink salt

Recipe
- Add a tablespoon of rajgira flour with a cup of curd in a bowl. Whisk this mixture until there are no lumps.
- Heat a teaspoon of ghee in a pan and then add cumin seeds. Add ginger and green chilli and saute them. Now add the rajgira mixture.
- Bring this to a boil and then reduce the flame to low and let it simmer for 10-12 minutes.
- Adjust seasoning with rock salt, add coriander and serve hot.
Singhare Ki Barfi
This is another popular sweet yet healthy navratri fast recipes that can be easily made at home.
Ingredients
- Singhare ke atta
- khoya
- Ghee
- Sugar
- water
- Cardamom powder for flavouring
Recipe
- Take a thick bottom pan and add a cup of ghee to it. Saute singhare ka atta until it becomes light brown in colour.
- Slightly heat the khoya until it is well roasted.
- Mix this with the saute atta and also add cardamom powder and leave to cool.
- Add water and sugar in a pan. Dissolve it and then bring to a boil until you get a nice thick sugar syrup.
- Now pour this sugar syrup in the prepared atta and khoya mixture. Stir continuously for a smooth mixture.
- Grease a plate and transfer this mixture. Pat to level and allow to cool.
- Garnish this with your choice of dry fruits such as almonds and pistachios. Cut into pieces and serve.
Farali Pattice

- Potato
- Singhara flour
- Cashews
- Peanut
- Grated coconut

- Green chilli

Recipe
- For Farali Stuffing, roast cashews and peanuts on low heat. Now, coarsely grind them.
- Add raisins, grated coconut, chopped ginger, green chilli and coriander leaf to grind nuts and your stuffing is ready.
- Boil the potatoes and mash them well.
- When potatoes are cooled, mix water chestnut or singhara flour to make a smooth dough.
- Make balls from the dough and slightly flatten to shape them into pattice.
- Add stuffing in the centre and seal the edges.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the farali patty on low flame until it is golden brown.
- Serve the Farali pattice with a coriander chutney.
